We waited an hour and a bit for our food with no explanation or justification from the staff. The food came and was good but it honestly was not worth the wait or the general attitude of the staff. At the end of the meal they were surprised at our party not ordering dessert after the hour long wait… definitely would not go back

Fantastic seasonal menu with knowledgeable staff. I was in Chicago for one evening and they allowed for a last minute reservation. The meal was layered in flavors, with thoughtful side pairings that made the meal feel inexpensive for the value of the food.

I was expecting a much better experience in a restaurant at this price point. Some of the food was OK ( no more than that ) but some was not. A fish dish ( halibut ) was over salted to the point that it was inedible. My wife stated that she could not finish it. The waiter removed it. At bill paying time I mentioned the fish problem. He strongly stated that there would be no change in the bill as some of the meal had been eaten and in addition when initially asked how the food was he got no negative responses. Why, because no one had commenced eating at that point! No “ sorry “, no maybe a dessert, no nothing. I was with guests and did not feel that I wanted conflict at this point. In addition, the place was freezing cold. There are more negatives, but these are enough. We all felt French fried!

For a restaurant categorized by $$$$, the service at Brindille was terrible. We arrived early in the evening when there were no other diners at the restaurant. The wait staff was very rude about our briefcases next to our seats. The waiter did not remember who ordered what. Service should be sublime at such an expensive establishment and my colleagues and I were very disappointed.
