Tried to do a walk in for a sore throat. Was told that I can't be inside cause I'm sick which makes sense cause they don't want other people sick and I didn't have an appointment. What doesn't make sense is even though I don't have covid symptoms I have to take a mandatory covid test for 150$ and the visit will be 125 just to seen. So if you wanna pay 275$ without even getting a single xray or anything this is the place for you.

Great office and I really mean that u don't know how good u have it at Medicare east Rutherford until you go to another doctor office and u find out they're awful, jerk u around while your sick making u call multiple times for stuff while your trying to get healthy

I am at my wits end dealing with Med-care of Rutherford. Have been trying to reach them since morning only to hear the message “Sorry there is nobody to answer your call”. I had the same experience every time I called them in the last several days. Leaving any number of voice messages doesn’t make any difference. My insurance needs a PA from the doctor and they haven’t received any response from Med-care. I am stuck now with my medication running out and no way to reach Med-care. This should be my lesson. Update: As of today(03/29/2020), several weeks after posting my original review, the phone issue is still not fixed. So calling to resolve any issue is still out of question. I would like to avoid visiting the Medcare office for things that can be resolved over phone.

Yes, they accept walk-ins if you have an acute condition, though you may have to wait longer for your turn.
