I don’t write reviews but I’m really bummed out. I went in for a few things I needed and only left with one because I was so uncomfortable. I was looking at eyelashes and I didn’t see any of the ones I have used before and so I took a minute or two looking at them. I don’t know if it’s because I was crouched down or whatever but when you have product all the way to the ground that’s inevitable. I guess I took too long for their liking but when I finally found some I started to walk to look for something else I needed when I almost ran smack into security. I noticed he then started watching me as I was walking around. I couldn’t focus and felt now even uncomfortable to ask anyone for help in looking for what I needed so I just went to check out and he started talking with the cashiers and they all looked at me. The girl was not friendly and didn’t hide the looks she was giving me. I wanted to ask all of them if they’d like to search my bag. I saw another review of someone saying they felt like they were profiled because of their race and I feel like that’s probably what was going on with me as well (I have a decent amount of tattoos). Makeup stores are already overwhelming and daunting and now I feel like I can never go back.

I just felt like my every move was being watched, they ,"Customer Serviced",me to eternity and I felt like I, "fit",the profile African American female with a big purse that was open...I usually have a good shopping experience at Ulta, on top of them not having the items that I was looking for, I would've bought more things but I felt so uncomfortable and frustrated I only bought a lip butter and eye brow pencil and left... I won't be in a rush to return to this location... That's a shame it has to be this way!!! I'll just order online and go instore if I absolutely have too....

I had my hair done with Mason and I couldn't be happier! Everyone was so friendly and Mason was a joy to be around during the time it took to do my hair. The finished product turned out fantastic as well!

This was only my 2nd visit to Ulta. I was warmly greeted an directed in regards to my goal. Several employees checked on me to to die assistance. When I did need someone he was attentive and completed my request on the first ask. When I arrived at the counter to check out, the young lady helping needed assistance. Other employees assisted her and provided guidance on my transaction. She very nice in expressing her appreciation for my patience. She was pleasant and accommodating. I’m sure I didn’t explain correctly. But we got it all figured out in just a short time. Thanks for the variety of options and great customer service.
