They have separate piles for stuff like that and they charge a select price for tv's and animals who have passed other than that it goes by how much things weigh. They charge per ton. So a mattress should be fairly cheap.
Planning on dispersed camping in the area and looking for a place to dump camp trash. What's the fee for a few bags for non-area residents?

No, they don't do that, you have to take them to South Lake tahoe to get paid.
