First Watch

We hadn't gone to First Watch in forever, but we were near and hungry. Glad that we did. We had a marvelous breakfast and kept it healthy. Both had nice omelets, with fruit. Very tasty. Great waitress Miranda.

Overall, I will cite that the service at the St. Peters location of First Watch was very good. Since the restrooms were pretty–as you'll see from the photos I uploaded–I decided to go ahead and give them four (4) stars. Whenever I personally visit an establishment, and find that the men's restroom is on the cleaner side, I'm encouraged to give a higher rating. I would have given them five (5) stars had I not needed to send my pancakes back for a newer, fresher. But this isn't the first time I've had to do that with First Watch. It seems like that every location, or perhaps every other location, that I have to send the pancakes back because they have either been burned, overcooked, or they're old, somehow. When they brought the new batch out, it was like night and day in terms of the coloring and the freshness. I'm not sure why that keeps happening but it does. It has happened at the Clayton location once or twice, and at the Kirkwood location a time or two. But as I mentioned, the experience for the most part was positive. The server was pretty great as well. Unfortunately, I don't remember her name.

Homegrown from Scratch

This was so good. My hubby mixed his eggs and sausage with his side of biscuits and gravy and I had a fruttita that made kale taste good. First Watch is a favorite of ours, this location didn't disappoint.

Came here with my husband and the food and service was phenomenal. Bre was our waitress and she was very attentive and sweet. She was the highlight of our experience. Definitely will be back and will recommend this establishment to anyone.
