I worked with Alan on obtaining my first green card and later on confirming my permanent residence right after a divorce (which occurred during the 2 year termination period). He is absolutely great! Not only he is an excellent attorney, he is simply a nice human being. When I first moved to this country, I felt lost and had very little confidence in my future. Alan was so supportive and explained things in such a straightforward and simple manner, it always gave me hope that things are moving in the right direction. After going through a challenging divorce situation, I got my green card by mail! No interviews or further reviews needed! Alan did an amazing job by putting together a strong case for me. He is always open for follow-up questions: whether I reached out to him in a year or three years after the case, he remembered who I was and always helped! I would definitely recommend Alan to anyone who is seeking immigration advice and wants to have confidence in the outcome.

My husband and I used Alan for my husband's immigration starting in April of 2021. His green card was just approved in Jan 2022. Alan was on point with everything, explained in a way we understood. He was with us every step of the way. Thank you for everything! I couldn't have asked for a better immigration attorney and would recommend him to anyone I know. In fact, I have.

I called many immigration attorneys throughout Michigan to bring my husband over on a permanent resident visa. Alan was the only one that answered all my questions and didn't rush me off the phone. He is extremely knowledgeable as well as prompt and effecient. He walked me through each step and was very reassuring. A few years later we called him for my husband's citizenship. I would absolutely recommend him, my husband is now a citizen. You won't find any better and we can't thank him enough!

My partner and I hired Mr. Reiter to help with my adjustment of status in October 2019. Due to the various policy changes introduced by the previous administration and effects of COVID lockdowns on USCIS offices, this ended up being an especially lengthy and complicated process - thankfully, Alan was there to provide thoughtful and measured guidance and support throughout. Alan was always incredibly responsive, engaged and well-versed on the multiple and ever-changing updates to US travel policy (a true rarity considering the number of lawyers I spoke to during this time) - which was invaluable during a chaotic year like 2020. If you’re looking for a trustworthy legal professional to give you straightforward advice, Alan is your guy - he’s courteous, polite and always two-steps ahead. I highly recommend hiring Alan’s services for all your US immigration-related needs.(great value too!)

Questions & Answers

can one of your attorneys speed the deportation order of someone who can't be deported but needs to be released because he can't be deported. Ordered removed 1/21 doesn't want to wait 90 days to figure out they can't deport him.

Hello, I received the private email that I also received with this question and I replied to that email. Please refer to that response.

Are USA courts acknowledge DNA tests made in Israel? Another words, may I use a DNA test made in Israel to prove a paternity in USA court or the only DNA test is acceptable that is made in USA? Please, answer that question.

Hello, I do not handle family law matters (like divorce, child support or child custody)so do not know how courts inside the United States handle DNA tests for paternity. I only deal with US immigration law, you may want to contact an attorney that specializes in family law matters. Under certain circumstances, US Citizenship and Immigration Services will request DNA tests to prove family relationships for US immigration purposes. When USCIS requests a DNA test, they will usually provide specific instructions on how to obtain it so it is accepted by them.

I'm an Iraqi citizen studying PhD in Petroleum Engineering in the United States. I do not want to return back to Iraq due to bad situation in my country. If I applied for an asylum now, how many the time it would take to get permanent residency?!

Hello, every asylum case is different. Please set up a time to speak directly with an attorney familiar with this area of US immigration law to review the specifics of your situation. After reviewing your case, the attorney might have enough information to answer your questions.
