Very friendly and helpful staff! They have a pretty good selection herbs and tinctures and such that all seem fresh. The prices are good and there is a variety of hard to find vegan goods.

Great little health food store with an amazing variety of teas and products from Herb Pharm, as well as great looking produce. The staff member I spoke with was very friendly. We were just traveling through, but I love independently owned health food stores, so we went out of our way to stop and get a few items.

Most of our herb and spices we purchase from Frontier Co-op, Starwest Botanicals, and Mountain Rose Herbs. A few are sourced directly from local distributors or small businesses. Sources are generally labeled on the jar.

Is everything organic?

Clintonville Natural Foods | Jul 25, 2022

Organic agriculture is so important to us! We choose organic products whenever possible. Almost all of our fresh produce, bulk grains and beans, and herbs and spices are organic. We generally will make a special label for things that are NOT organic, unlike other stores that will label the organic products. Many of the products we carry on the shelves are organic as well.

We love to buy directly from local farmers! In the summer especially we carry lots of fresh local produce. We also supplement the local items with produce from a Cleveland-based produce distributor.

Our store is small but it's packed with a wide variety of products! Quality is the most important thing for us. Our entire store is non-GMO, we choose organic whenever possible and work with local and independent vendors who don't cut corners for higher profit margins. We carry natural grocery essentials like produce, pantry staples (both packaged and in bulk), snacks and drinks. We know there are customers who have dietary sensitivities and we strive to offer something for everyone, including gluten free, soy free, keto, paleo, and of course, dairy and egg free products. We also carry a wide variety of harder-to-find vegan products such as cheeses and "dairy" products, meat alternatives, unique proteins (such as the very popular Soy Curls and Pumfu), chocolate, snacks of all types, ice cream, protein powders, nutritional yeast, baking ingredients, and more! One of our biggest draws is our extensive bulk herb section! We now have almost 400 different herbs, spices, teas, salts, peppers, superfood powders, and more. We carry vitamins and supplements to support a healthy lifestyle. Our staff works to source the highest quality, effective nutritional supplements possible. We also have a selection of natural body care products, such as toothpaste, soap, skin care, feminine care, and essential oils. We've been told we are one of the few places in town to find sprouting seeds and supplies! Lastly, we carry household products such as toilet paper, laundry soap, cleaners, kitchen supplies, bamboo utensils and more. Please don't hesitate to give us a call about specific products!
