Brought some Pokemon cards in awhile back. Got Kindof dismissed, eventually a guy behind the counter told me he could take a look and offered me $400. For 3000 original base set cards. Maybe he didn't know what he was looking at, but I sold them for $3000 on eBay a week later.

Visited while on a road trip driving through town. Nate who was working that day was amazing. Super knowledgeable, friendly and took his time with me as I debated between a bunch of products! Ended up with a few products to take home to open with a friend. Great shop with fair prices that was well worth the stop on our trip!

Coming from California I didn't know what to expect. This place had it all. The amount of variety was amazing. From singles, packs, boxes, and graded cards. All sports as well. The staff was very helpful. A great group wanting to help. They are also great with kids getting into collecting.

Questions & Answers

Do you buy sport cards? Like collections? I have a nice collection I'm trying to get rid of. All at once would be great, I'm just keeping my PC.

I have to say that I agree. They are exceptionally fair when it comes to pricing. They're rather limited on what they're buying currently but blame the government and the politicians for that...but if you've got a numbered card or an autographed numbered card and want a secure and safe flip stop in....I had a few nice sets I was pushing to get rid of that under normal financial circumstances they'd have snatched up but they passed and I unfairly, after my second visit, misjudged them. I pulled a PANINI Donruss '22 UFC Charles Oliveira autographed purple lazer and from all I saw it was going for about $100-$120 high end. I do plenty of buying and reselling with housewares and predominantly vintage toys so I'm well aware of the one-third mentality. In fact I expect it. The gentlemen was NOT the owner though I have met the owner several times but he asked what I was looking to get? I said $30...$35 if I'm lucky. He looks it up and immediately says they're selling for $80 and in my mind

I like to replace a lot they are good and smart people with their cards you should go check them out they’re very smart and know what they are doing

PART 2 I ran out of room on your other question brother...I don't know if you meant to write a review or what but it was in it questions section and so I was replying.... So when he says $80 I immediately think he's gonna low ball me. I quickly responded that on ebay there were not a one for $80 but before I could spit it out he says he can offer me $50!!! I was shocked honestly. And I apologize for misjudging the business before. I understand why you're only buying rare stuff and I appreciate the courtesy and respect you gave me when doing business with you. I don't deal in cards often but when I do it'll be with these great guys at this very nice local business! Thanks again guys!!

How much are your pokemon cards? Lowest price I've found so far is $3.50 at The Guardtower on Trabue Road but looking for other shops to buy from too when other shops may be closed.

Last i talked to an expert, it jumped from 80 all the way up to damn near 300- something, but to make matters worse p.s.a. is backed up by years with cards waiting to be graded. It's crazy

Do you have any vintage hockey?

Anthony Grasso | Oct 23, 2021
Cardcollector2 Sports Cards | Oct 23, 2021

Anthony - not really. We don't do a whole lot of hockey, especially vintage hockey. We may have a card or two but I doubt there's much. We're always trying to expand our offerings so I will keep an eye out for more vintage hockey in the future. Thanks!

Do you guys buy old cards,70-80s big red machine and such

William Flowers | Oct 23, 2020
Cardcollector2 Sports Cards | Oct 23, 2021

Not typically. Mostly looking for 50-60's super stars like Mantle, Mays, etc. as well as newer cards (jerseys, autographs, etc.) from the last 5 years or so (preferably of bigger names). We are happy to take a look though if you're looking to get an idea of what you have and what it may be worth. Just don't want to make any promises on buying anything we may or may not be able to use in our store.
