Bachman Blueberries

Got to Bachman’s a 7:30am to beat the heat. Never dreamed you could pick blueberries in the shade! There’s a big row of pine trees that shade a major section of blueberry bushes. Bushes are big too, full of berries. We enjoyed picking berries for about an hour, mid June during a heat wave, and didn’t break a sweat! Blueberry lemonade and muffins were a nice treat as well!

The blue berries are large, sweet and plentiful. In 2 gallons we picked, not a bug in any of it. Bring a water bottle with you for quenching thirst while you pick. We picked 2 gallons in a little over 90 minutes.
