I am sure that the apartment complex is a great place to live. However, I was highly displeased with the treatment that my mother and I received from Megan, the leasing consultant. We were looking to rent a corporate apartment for a few months, but we were not please with our initial meeting, which deterred us from wanting to obtain the unit. We were subject to systemic racism, with a hard emphasis on criminal background check, and income, as if we were unworthy of living in the establishment. If you are a person of color, especially, a woman, I advise you to spend your hard earned money elsewhere!!!

If you’re just starting out looking for an apartment, don’t move here. The rent is outrageously expensive. 1200 for a studio? You must be out of your mind. The pool shut down 3 times during the summer for maintenance that could’ve been done during the off season. One of the dog parks were shut down for months, I doubt they’ve even fixed it yet. This place is definitely not worth the price they’re asking.

I moved into Retreat at River Chase a few weeks ago and I absolutely love it! One of the best parts is that it's so quiet. The apartments and community are very well maintained. There are a lot of amenities, including many areas to walk around the complex. Parking is never an issue. I really feel that I can relax and enjoy my time at home. Jessica in the office was a huge help in the leasing process and made everything easy. It's also in a terrific area with all the shops and restaurants you could want nearby.
