Yes, services have resumed! We meet for 1 hour on most Sundays from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
Alexandria became a stake (the center of a collection if congregations) in 1978, implying that they already had a strong congregation by that time. I couldn't find exactly how long there has been a Latter-day Saint congregation in the city but it's likely since the 50's or 60's. I don't know how long they've been at this particular address. Services are always open to the public... So I guess the simple answer is 60 years, give or take.
