Downstairs serves the most innovative cocktails in Springfield. Awesome selection of craft beers rotating on tap, obviously lovingly hand-picked. Ran by great, local guys who are community minded. Upstairs has a completely different vibe that seems to appeal to a younger crowd, especially on the weekends.

The upstairs can be rented and you are able to bring in your own food.
Not really labeled as a gay bar... station house would be the spot.. if you're into that..
