Positive: Bugs , bugs , bugs! Trash was overflowing in outside trash can by front door . Room trash cans never emptied . Had to go to the front desk to get 3 wash rags & towels ! Saw woman running vaccium in hallway 1 time. Saw the manager 2x, Negative: Everything .. floors needed to steam mopped . When you had socks on & walked on the floors they was extremely dirty. Bathtub /shower was dirty . That place needs a plumber . Toilets ran on & off all night . Drains in shower & sink was full of hair ,

🐜🐜🐜🐜🐜 We stayed three nights for the cost of this hotel it is embarrassing. $96 a night in mid week. The ac was noisy but worked. The ac vents were dirty intake and output. We went swimming and of course were wet when we got back to the room. I used a towel to wipe up the wet floors and it was really dirty and looked like the floors were never mopped. The toilet seat didn't match the oblong toilet... First floor 🐜🐜🐜🐜🐜 problem.

I used to think of the Motel 6 as the reliable cheap option closest to Holiday World. My last stay was in 2019, and I walked away satisfied. However, things have definitely gone downhill since then. My visit last week involved 3 room changes due to various issues right after check in. No A/C, housekeeping problems, etc. Based on my sample size of 4 rooms, it seems a staple of every room at the property now is long black hairs mixed into the bedding. Including in the sheets. Some beds were worse than others, including one where the bedspread itself was covered in stains so large that they could be seen from the door. The cleanliness issues extended elsewhere. The floor was so filthy that it nearly instantly turned my socks black. I made it a little better by using one of the bath towels as a mop, which in turn stained the whole towel black. There was hair in the shower and dead bugs all over every surface not directly at eye level (tops of furniture and the TV stand). It seemed that each time I went to the lobby I heard other guests complaining of similar issues. The property is no longer cared for and should be avoided if possible.

We needed to cancel the second night of a 2 night reservation. We notified the desk at 3:30 PM; clerk had to call the owner who refused cancellation. So they stuck us with extra night charge. Motel 6 corporate policy from their website is 6 PM cancellation. Facility was clean, hot shower and clean towels.
