Just came with my husband for his outpatient surgery. They would not allow me INSIDE THE HOSPITAL at all because I had my newborn with me. Not even in a waiting room or the cafeteria. No signage posted anywhere. Absolutely ridiculous.

At 18 years of age, I went to the Our Lady of the lake's ER department for pain. Months later they sent me a letter stating that an employee of Our Lady, sold my personal information to someone and was terminated for this. The person who bought my information from this hospital employee, bought a home in my name, locally. Since then, I have had to prove my identity with the IRS every single year when filing my personal taxes and I HAVE to mail in my taxes to the IRS do prove this. Thankfully I got it disputed of my credit but now I live in constant worry about my information.. Our Lady promised me "Million Dollar identity theft insurance" for the rest of my life but never told me the insurance company name, the policy, what it covers, or anything besides "you have it now". I didn't receive and information or documentation proving it was factual, in which I thought I'd at least get paperwork mailed. I was young and allowed this hospital to manipulate me into compliance and forget about this, I haven't as it still affects me today. I would like someone at your hospital to please contact me at your earliest convenience. Thank you, stay blessed.

If I could give no stars GOD in Heaven knows I would. I had surgery on 6/30/22 I had a few complications and had to stay longer. Everything started off fine until I had some issues and had to clean and tend to myself because I called for a nurse twice and no one came. I even said it was an emergency still no one came. I was discharged 7/5/22 my nurse was Meredith. My husband and I was waiting for her to give me the discharge papers. While waiting we had a family emergency and my husband left. When she did come back I explained to her that he was coming back and she said thats fine. 15 mins later she comes back and says her supervisor said I had to leave because they need the room. They had many more available romantic they could have used (which I had seen with my own eyes)I asked were am I suppose to go and she said the waiting room somewhere. I spoke to the supervisor and he literally said the same thing. I just collected my things and waited in the waiting room. No one rolled me out (which is what they were supposed to do)or said anything to me after that. Oh and I didn't have clothes my husband was bringing them to me so I waited in a hospital gown. I do plan on filing a formal complaint, even if I have to go to the news station myself because nobody should be treated that way.

If you were born in Louisiana you can go to the court house downtown baton Rouge and walk out with one
They can't turn you away. They will monitor the patient and provide any medical treatment needed
Hey
No. Not anymore. They have them at Stepping Stone near he St Theresa Church.
Yes...we are always hiring. Just go apply on our website.
Sorry but St. Elizabeth doesn't have a maternity unit nor does it have a nursery for delivery.
It depends on what you're getting them for- at least that's what we were told. It was not much to get them though. If it's going to another doctor, i think it's free, but for other reasons there is a small charge. I think we got charged $1 for a couple hundred pages of records.
