great park but needs attention to detail. trees dying and repairs needed on kids splash pad, and playground. wasp nest and ply wood everywhere... could be great. hopefully all the money they spend on a crosswalk from the aquarium they will fix the areas in the park..

Beautiful place during the spring and summer. Lots of birds to chase. In the fall, all of the grass is dead and there are so many ants that bite me. Beach is a short walk from here. Sometimes, teenagers come here to rev their in engines or honk really loudly with their less-than-200hp vehicles. Me and my owner can run faster than half of their cars.

Just down from where we launch our boat to do our annual deep sea fishing trip. It's the only place where you can park your boat trailer after launching. Scenic area with lots going on around the park.

You can grill we have hot charcoal depository around the park so you'd just have to make sure you properly dispose of it but it would probably only be possible in the morning time considering that right now we have the Christmas festival going on The park is open from 6am -3pm during this festival time after the festival is over the park will be back open again from 6am -10pm There is also a little awning by the small playground you could grill there and if you had little ones with you they could play while you grill
Yes... I believe 8:45
You would need to call Parks Recreations in the Gulfport area.
Generally, there is not an Entrance fee. However, right now they have the Christmas light displays set ( which are Beautiful and Great to see ) and it does cost to walk around inside the gated part of Jones Park. I believe it is $ 10 or $ 20 per person and I don't know what it is for children. During the daylight hours, it does not cost to drive to and walk on the Piers.
If you're just gathering in a general area, no. If you're using any of the pavillions, trying to create a "private area" where only your guests can gather (not other kids), or you're doing something like starting a fire, then you need a permit.
Not for sure was only there for vacation
We have on the beaches around the park but not actually at the park.
Yes it's very safe to run along the Beach. Lots of people run there.
Yes have small grills but l dont cook on them it dont have a cover on grill
As of last week, not encouraged. Ban should be lifted soon (hopefully).
The splash pad is free no need to call
Unknown at this time
You will need to get to the park really early cause the parking will be a major problem, cause everyone will be trying to get the best parking spot. And yes you can BBQ out their as long as you clean up your area. And their is an firework display later that night
