A group of my friends decided to play Bucknell Golf course today. I would consider ourselves above average golfers with a GHIN handicap from 6.2 to 7.8. We always play the ball down and where it lies no Gimmies no breaks real Golf. For a course and a university that prides itself in excellence they need to do something about their carts that they bought in 1902 and there cart paths. This is not a $56 course I don’t think anybody on that course owns a ball repair tool, the greens were hideous with ball marks. We played the Tips (blue tees) which is only about 100 yards further than the white T boxes we play at our home course. The pace was slow but know one really complaining behind or in front of us. We literally had the ranger follow us for 70% of the round. And finally on the last T box he pulled up to us on the fairway and asks why did we pull up to the T box with the cart? I said because there is no cart paths anywhere near most of the Blue Boxes. And there was already tracks there. He roles his eyes like I am some low life and not good enough to be on the course.. Needles to say I told him he is the reason we only play this course every 3-5 years. Bucknell your not that good. Customer relations goes along way. I personally ban myself for life on this course.😡😡

First let me say this course is beautiful and the pro shop attendant was very nice. I struggled with leaving this review, however if you are newer to golf you should go to another course. unfortunately a group of men were rude and unprofessional, harassing us to the point of making us leave the course. The attendant offered to refund our money as soon as I walked into the pro shop without me even asking for it. Obviously this has happened before. I doubt our group would go back despite the wonderful employee who apologized over and over for these childish men.
