I love Honeysuckle! It’s a great place for students to live and so close to the campus. So many great events and helpful workers. Maintenance came right away every time!

Honeysuckle is a great place to live as a student. Being a nursing student I would always have to be on campus which was great because there was a walkway that led directly to campus! The walkway also has a built in elevator making it even easier if you are rushing to and from campus. I also was required to have a car due to having to go to clinical and Honeysuckle has an ample amount of parking. The location is safe and the faculty are so sweet! Whenever I put in a maintenance order it would be fixed within 24 hours which was great! Lastly they always have events going on giving free food and giveaways which was always fun to participate in. They made my 3 years of college stress free and comfortable! Definitely recommend this place to any future students who are looking to live off campus!

I couldn’t imagine living anywhere else! Honeysuckle has EVERYTHING!! It is the perfect distance from campus, they have a Starbucks machine, a computer resource room with a printer, a gym, and the maintenance team (Tony and Brian) are the BEST!! They are always there to solve your problems and put a smile on your face :). Plus the name “Honeysuckle”...I love telling people that’s where I live. It feels like home and I highly recommend living there!

Questions & Answers

How are apartments assigned?

Part of the application process is a roommate matching section where applicants select their preferences and can request specific roommates, buildings, apartments and bedrooms. We also utilize an app called RoomSync where residents can create a profile and browse profiles of other students with leases at Honeysuckle. This gives residents the opportunity to pick their own roommate rather than our staff placing residents together.

How far from Bloomsburg University are you located?

We are directly across from Bloomsburg University, around a 5 minute walk. There is a pedestrian bridge located behind the Haas Center for the Performing Arts building on campus that brings you right to Honeysuckle.

The dining room has a 42" table and 4 chairs. The living room comes with a couch, chair, side table, coffee table and TV stand. Each bedroom has a full size, extra long mattress, a desk with a chair, a 2 drawer cabinet that can be put under the desk or used as a night stand and 4 dresser drawers that can fit under the bed or be stacked like a traditional dresser.

Can you be bought out of the lease?

There are two options for terminating a lease agreement; the first is to find someone to transfer the lease to, which includes a $200 transfer fee. If no one could be find to take over the lease, then a termination fee equal to 3 rent installments would need to be paid, which will free the person from the remaining rent installments of the lease agreement.
