Absolutely horrible customer service. Multiple errors on their end, supervisors are never available and NEVER want to speak with you, the workers complain that they have too much work to do and refuse to help customers! Absolutely disgusting behavior from this department!

Amongst almost everybody reviewing THEY DO NOT ANSWER CALLS OR CALL BACK

It seems as though absolutely no one answers the phone here, and they rarely returns calls. You're stuck with a robot for about four minutes just for the automated message to tell you that they're not available and to leave a message. Just this week I was on hold for 52 minutes and they hung up saying they were busy with other callers

How do you get ahold of someone? I’ve been calling for days and keep getting the same exact message every single time. “All of our staff is busy assisting other customers, your call is important to us, please call again later” not cool.

Either go in and ask a receptionist for an application or go online to the PA Compass website. I prefer the website personally - saves time and gas and answers questions since I can never get through the phone system at this office.

Good question

Is the office open yet (after being closed for covid-19)?

No, it's not but you can put your request or questions in the box and they answer you back the second day.

Why do they have phones if nobody answers them?

I'm not sure why they don't pick up. But you can call the Pa dept of human services @ 18773958930. They always answer and are very helpful.

1st thing when they open and right after lunch

Should I continue trying to call, or do you not really answer the phones? It appears to be an automated system that delivers recorded messages, but does not actually connect the caller to a person. If that is the case, it would be helpful to know.

rec'd access card... how do i know when it becomes available?

You can check the PA Compass website or app (my preferred methods) or call the number on the back of your card. You should also receive a letter with the amount you are going to receive and your first benefit date. Hope this helps!
