Highly highly disappointed in this facility. Our family was promised that they could take care of my wife’s grandmother despite family providing all information that there may be difficulties as dementia progressed. Country Meadows promised they would be able to take care of her and said they have dealt with difficult patients before. That has proved to be a lie. They promised that staff are appropriately trained to deal with memory care population which has also proved to be a lie and are now looking for any excuse to evict our family member. The family has constantly been fed lies from the DON and there has not been appropriate care from the beginning.

Got the chance to serve George Leader and his wife when they were living together at country meadows. Was good back then. Unfortunately have heard some heart breaking things lately. My family will stay away.

The past two years have been very difficult for my parents following my father’s hip replacement. With his passing a month ago, my mother’s life long love and companion left a hole that can’t be filled and mom was unable to remain in their home alone. From our first encounter with Country Meadows of Hershey staff, my wife and I were convinced CMH would be the best place for mom’s final chapter. From day one everyone and everything CMH has provided continuously and consistently affirms our decision. My 95 year-old mom cannot say enough about the concern and care CMH staff bring to her every day. She is as content and safe as she can possibly be following such a difficult time and for the foreseeable future. The relief and sense of comfort my wife and I feel knowing that all aspects of care mom is receiving can hardly be put into words and certainly cannot be overstated. Just know we love, appreciate and are eternally grateful for you all!

I can’t say enough good things about Country Meadows. Dad was a resident at the Hershey Campus. Reluctant to go to assisted living… he withdrew his application and decided to stay in his home. So we were grateful when Kris Parmer at Hershey suggested we keep his application and deposit active—“just in case.” Not long after, and one more “fall” later, we convinced him to “try” Pathways… sort of step down therapy from rehab, we told him. We said “just for thirty days.” Thanks to Kris and Jenny, It was a seamless transition from Penn State Rehab. Thirty days later Dad became a resident. He loved his one bedroom suite with its walkout patio— he wasn’t going to give it that up and didn’t! More importantly— Dad received the greatest care from staff—everyone from Norma at the front desk to the nursing, cleaning and kitchen staff. Getting up there in years (95) he wouldn’t always remember who he told the story about “the eye.” (Ferris Wheel in London). He’d say “have I told you about “the eye?” No matter how many times staff heard the story, they patiently listened and looked at his photos as if it was the first time. I included a couple of photos — one of him being silly in his suite, and another of us working out together in the gym. Thank you Country Meadows for treating our Dad as you would a member of your own family. We are forever grateful.
