Great workout concept. Loved the variety of workouts and the pace. Chris my instructor was great and very engaged. The biometric monitoring encouraged me push myself and I really got a great workout. Loved the challenge!

OTF has change my life not only physically but mentally. I never knew I was capable of pushing myself the way I do when I’m taking the classes! The coaches are amazing, encouraging and personable. I am getting amazing results and I only joined five weeks ago. One thing I have to be very honest about is that, I have visited other studios like NHP and GCP. It seems that they have more member focused activities such as taking pictures and posting them when they have accomplished a goal, broken a record or simply made it to their 50th class. The welcome desk attendants are more personable and greet you by name. I feel weird when at my home studio they only greet some members by name and not others. That feels a bit discouraging specially when showing up for the 5:00 am every day. But overall my experience has been great, and look forward to seeing even more amazing results. Joining OTF was one of the best decisions I made! It’s teaching me a whole other way of life.

I love OTFRVC because all the front desk staff are friendly and polite, gives a personalized feeling by identifying you by name, learns your preference and usually tries to honor it. I love that the workouts are different everyday and really challenges you and along with that the most of the coaches will also encourage and motivate you to push yourself. OTFRVC also gives that family camaraderie.

I find the prices to be fair they have different packages depending on the level of commitment you want to make to yourself and your health. I strongly urge you to walk in take a free class and go from there. The staff at Rockville center where i go are the best. No pressure, no judgement, no hassle. Only support. I know i did not answer your question about prices but let me meet you half way they are cheaper than a personal trainer and you are guaranteed 60 mins of work not lip service. $3 to -$6 a day is what you can expect on average per month
It’s our top priority to keep our staff and members safe during the COVID-19 pandemic. As recommendations and data change rapidly, our Medical Advisory Board is working hard to ensure studios follow CDC guidance, in addition to state and local government guidance. We recommend contacting your local studio for more information.
If you’ve already been doing Orangetheory and become pregnant, check with your doctor first. Our heart rate monitoring is a perfect way to keep an eye on your intensity as you progress through your pregnancy. If you are a few months into your pregnancy and haven’t been doing any sort of fitness training, wait until after you have your baby and we can help get you back into shape!
Absolutely. Our coaches are trained to provide options for each exercise on the floor, in addition to offering a low-impact bike and strider alternative in place of the treadmill for lower body injuries or orthopedic restrictions.
Of course. Orangetheory is geared toward ALL levels of fitness and everyone is free and encouraged to go at their own pace. We recommend trying a free introductory workout, then discussing any thoughts or questions you may have regarding your fitness goals, with your coach.
Splat Points indicate minutes spent in the orange and red zones. Aim for 12 or more Splat Points per class.
Orangetheory is 5 Zone heart rate based interval training using specifically designed and timed interval training blocks. During a workout, members focus on Zones 3, 4 and 5. The workouts are designed to produce 12 minutes or more in Zones 4 & 5 combined (to achieve the after burn) during the treadmill training portion of the workout.
We’ll ask that you arrive no more than 15 minutes before workout and avoid congregating in the lobby.
Book your first workout by signing up online or calling the Orangetheory studio most convenient for you. Once you have an Orangetheory Fitness membership, download the Orangetheory Fitness app. With the app you will be able to easily view schedules, book classes and get access to the latest intel.
A water bottle and a towel.
We’ll ask that you arrive no more than 30 minutes before class and avoid congregating in the lobby.
Our workout room has a variety of equipment including treadmills (bikes and striders as alternatives), WaterRowers, and floor equipment including dumbbells, benches, TRX suspension trainers, medicine balls, BOSU trainers and AB Dollys.
Orangetheory is a 1-hour, full body workout, focused on training to build endurance, strength and power. We use heart rate-based interval training, which burns more calories post-workout than traditional exercise. When wearing our heart rate monitors, your real-time results are displayed on large screens throughout the studio. Intensity is based on your individual heart rate zones, making the workout effective for all fitness levels. To top it off, our fitness coaches lead the workout to prevent you from overtraining or undertraining.
OTbeat™ is our exclusive heart rate monitoring technology. Members have the unique experience of seeing real-time data during their workout, enabling them to push themselves to new limits. After class, they can then monitor their improvements through emailed results and by using the Orangetheory Fitness app.
Our rates and fees vary based on the studio, but your first workout is FREE. Contact your local studio to discuss pricing when you redeem your free workout!
