Very professional and very knowledgeable. Explained in detail every aspect of the stairlift.

Wonderful people to deal with, quick and efficient installation, and during this pandemic was done very safely and respectfully to everyone in the home. Thank you! UPDATED 18 MONTHS LATER…buyer beware of this company (not even sure it is still in business as my messages continually go to voicemail with no response EVER). After 18 months, the battery on my mom’s stairlift started dying (supposed to last 3-5 years). No answer from the Stairlift Store after many calls, emails, texts. Called Acorn directly…my mom’s serial # was never registered (apparently this was a 2016 model, refurbished, and sold to me as a new model). Acorn had no obligation to service, but they scheduled me anyway and I waited a week for a service (luckily the chair battery didn’t die in that time) and it was discovered that the batteries were cheap Best Buy models that only last a year! Of course, we paid for Acorn service, but it was worth it…at least my mom can go up and down the stairs. I don’t understand the practice of taking advantage of vulnerable populations! It makes me sad and angry. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!!

I just got a chair lift for my dad. I called the chairlift store and they were courteous and professional. They came out quickly and did a great job on the installation. They even came out on Father’s Day on Sunday for an issue where my dad accidentally turned the key off, Disabling the chair. They came out same day and didn’t even charge him. I highly recommend them for any installations you have.

I needed a chair lift for my 95 year old mother who could not make stairs and therefore could not get out of the house. Service was excellent and they worked hard to come up with solutions to a spacing problem initially thought to be a barrier. Looked for the most inexpensive way to make it work. Luckily the chair fit fine and my mom loves it! She can get out and can once again sit in her backyard-which she loves!

Hi, Typically, the rollers that guide the machine along the track will gather dust. Because they are under pressure, it will normally compress the dust and leave a grey colored line in the track. It can be hard to clean, but should come off. The rollers are inside the machine and can’t be accessed without taking it apart. Nothing to be concerned about other then cleaning it if it looks ugly.
