As mentioned downtown Reno greyhound is a bus stop not station. So your bus driver checks you in. Also being located next to Amtrak station passengers can wait inside Amtrak’s station out of the elements. My experience was good from Sam Francisco to Reno In support of the GH staff they deal with a lot - and are short staffed and deal with a range of issues - late buses, mechanical, drivers out sick, homeless etc. Like cars and planes that have similar issues and the wait is tough. As for the Reno station More signs would be helpful!

There is a bus stop across the street from the Reno Amtrak. It's on the far corner.
Amtrak and greyhound drops off at the same place
About a 10 minute ride
Yes, but you will have to transfer in Oakland..
Yes
Yes you can use your phone go to the greyhound bus app and punch in day you want to go. Midweek Wednesday has the best pricing around $92 one way.
I had to catch a bus from the greyhound station in Sparks, NV to Las Vegas its a 21 hour bus ride.
Check out wanderu. Way cheaper bus fares
That is the Amtrak station. Google Amtrak Reno for routes.
