I am sick and tired of being told my eyesight isn’t bad enough for contacts . I have went in twice in the past 5 years with complaints of not being able to see close up or far away and I am told your eyesight is not bad enough for contacts .. get glasses for far away and readers for close up .. I am a hairstylist and cannot sped my day bouncing back and forth from one frame to another . I did as she said and purchased glasses and they did not help at all . So when I called and demanded a contact prescription, she gave me same prescription as several years later …. When I needed bifocal lenses . And then refused to reimburse be anything for glasses I did not want .. now I am back to ground zero and out $450.

The front desk was very rude to me - I drove 20 minutes for an appointment I had made the week prior, I arrived 10 minutes early and wasted all afternoon trying to convince them that I have vision insurance. I called my benefits center, the insurance provider themselves, and both verified my insurance coverage over the phone, sent me all of my information, and they still would not see me stating "there's nothing I can do, you don't have insurance". They showed no concern for my time or my efforts to prove my case and I left having wasted time away from work for nothing. Strongly discourage going to Grace Vision Care unless you want to be treated extremely poorly by their front desk staff.

I have seen Dr Grace 3 times now. She is knowledgeable, patient, and personable. For me, a feature I really appreciate, she is from here. Moved here when she was a child; obtained her DO elsewhere, returned to Mooresville to practice. I like that. She's one of us. Thank you, Dr. Grace!
