We stayed there for our wedding anniversary I been going there for 3 years. We love it there the whole atmosphere is so relaxing from the moment you get there to the whole stay. Angelo and Marco are so welcoming that it feels like family. The breakfast is amazing with so much detail and delicious that it's hard to express in words 😋 I don't have words to explain how much we love this place ❤️ can't wait for next year 😀

Our stay at the Candleberry Inn was priceless. Marco and Angelo were warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived, as if we were old friends. The Inn was immaculate and the attention to every detail was perfection. Marco was a wealth of information in recommending restaurants, places to see, along with directions to bike trails for my husband to ride. The breakfasts were catered to each individual, taking into consideration any dietary restrictions or food allergies, which were always discussed with Marco before service. Angelo is a true culinary wizard with his delicious breakfasts and afternoon treats all done with the utmost care, and wonderful presentation. It was as if Angelo was our own private chef, who was always smiling and so kind. The hospitality of Marco, Angelo, Stephanie, and the staff made us feel like family. We didn't want to leave. We are planning on returning for our anniversary in April; hopefully to our same room. Thank you Marco and Angelo for everything. The Candleberry Inn is truly a special place because of you both. Kenneth and I both agree this was absolutely the nicest B&B we have ever stayed at. Marco & Angelo went above & beyond to make us feel welcomed, pampered and provided with every need we had. We will pass the word on to all of our friends that the Candleberry Inn is an absolute must.

This was a home away from home. Marco and Angelo were very warm and welcoming, the perfect hosts for a BNB. We stayed 4 nights during October in the ‘Seacroft Suite’. This room was quiet, cozy, and had great lighting during the day. We also had enough room here for a couples massage. One of my favorite things was coming back to afternoon treats they left out for us each day. Breakfast each morning was amazing. Angelo personalized each plate and gave attention to detail. The staff had a great memory of our ‘regular’ drinks and preferences. Location was convenient, central to much throughout the cape. We were able to walk to the beach in under 15 minutes. Definitely recommend. We plan to return in the future.

There are two options for whale watching cruises. One is in Provincetown (Dolphin Fleet) and the other is in Barnstable Harbor (Hyannis Whale Watching Cruises). You can also add this to your stay when you book and your whale watching trip will be all set when you arrive.
The closest major ferry port is Hyannis, which is approximately 12 miles from the inn and we recommend 40 minutes to get there to allow time to drive, park the car, and get to the ferry. For Nantucket, there is a fast ferry that departs in the busy season from Harwich Port, which is 15 minutes away. There is also ferry service at Woods Hole (Falmouth) which is approximately one hour from the Inn.

The suites and the rooms in the Carriage House have refrigerators. There is a refrigerator in the common guest pantry area, which would normally be for shared use. However, in 2020 it was not shared. For guests that need a refrigerator for medications, we have a mini fridge that can be placed in your room for your stay - it's tiny and can fit a few cans of drinks or your medications and guests loved it.
Check-out time is before 11:00 am.
Yes, we can easily accommodate later check-ins. A late arrival envelope with your first name on it will be waiting for you at the guest arrival area. The envelope will contain the keys and easy directions to your room. This way you may leisurely stop for dinner on your way onto the Cape and arrive with ease. And we'll see you at breakfast time.
Check-in time is between 3:00 PM and 7:00 PM. Early check-ins are usually not possible due to housekeeping staff shortage combined with additional current housekeeping procedures. But feel free to ask, we'd be happy to accommodate this request if we can.
For the sake of guest safety, bikes need to be professionally maintained, so we don't offer them as part of the inn. However, we have relationships with several nearby bike shops that will deliver bikes to the inn. We're happy to refer you to the bike shops.
The Cape Cod Rail Trail is half mile away from the Inn. We are approximately located at the middle of the 26 mile bike trail. One direction will terminate in Wellfleet, while the other direction will cross the Cape and take you towards either Chatham or South Dennis.
