Over 3 hour wait due to your inability to properly staff (apparently, as half the beds were empty). Only to have a doctor run over, say "We're going to have to do this in a rush, I have a more sick patient coming in" and then fly through a questionnaire about symptoms. She comes to the conclusion my daughter needs her ear flushed and then asks me if I want her to do it or if it can just wait. (My daughter woke shortly before midnight crying about her ear pain then waited hours to be addressed). I stated I wanted her ear flushed, so this doctor rushes through that, roughly, repeatedly telling my daughter who was screaming in pain from how rough she was that she's fine. Your doctor should be fired. So should whatever nurse or staff member that left this dirty towel under the head of the bed. And probably the other nurse who walked around bed to bed with the same gloves on. And also whoever left half used...saline?..whatever medicinal liquid on the tray table that - obviously - was not cleaned. OSHA would probably have a field day in your facility.

I would go elsewhere! 2 physicians and radiology missed a fractured growth plate in multiple sections. My son had to wait in waiting room while in so much pain, crying and begging to be seen, 2 more hours in pain with no medication or answers. Discharged finally with a dose of Motrin and told sprain. Thankfully we made an ortho appointment who immediately saw the fracture and treated.
DOLORES RUSSO
my son went to ER by ambulance on 9/15/22. Had bad sciatica and could not walk for 4 days. could not get transport home at discharge. I was very upset. Head of ER, Jackie, came in and told us we had to leave or she would call security. I told her he couldn't walk and she said he could. She was extremely rude, disrespectful, and obnoxious. Got my son home and he had to crawl up 20 steps to get into a 2nd floor condo. so much for walking. the only good thing was that he was given an rx for steroids which helped immensely. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

I would like to thank the doctors and the staff for their kindness and professionalism...my sister had a heart attack while we were vacationing...the staff are truly angels

You have to call ahead and then go pick it up
Because things cost money, get over it.
When I brought my dad, it took 10 minutes before they finished all the preliminary stuff before they brought him back
I believe they take all insurances. Call to double check or what % of cost for services
Dear Sue. Unfortunately, but for the safety of our patients, team members and community we are not permitting visitors. Under certain circumstances a designated support person is permitted. I hope this is helpful.
Hi Jane, Thank you for your message. Please call Ray Wisniewski, Director of Volunteer Services for the latest update on the return of Volunteers to the hospital or the Etcetera Shop Manager for their volunteer policy at this time.
There's a bus stop across the street from the ER entrance driveway on Route 9.
Yes we are affiliated with UPenn and offer UPenn programs and treatment options please call (609) 463-CAPE (2273) for specific answers to your concerns. The hospital is very happy to be able to provide comprehensive medical services to our community.
6 am to 7 pm
They usually call after 6pm the night before
Yes you need to call 463-2000 ask for the x-ray department to order them in advance and then when you come any entrance they will give you directions to the x-ray department
All your supervisor of hr. That would be my guess.
The entrance is facing stone harbor Blvd. As soon as you walk into the door, registration is to the right.
You can go into the outpatient part of the hospital and request them. You may have to pay and wait a day or two but should be able to get them. If not then they should tell you how to get your records. They have to provide them. Hopefully you need your records to go to a diff HOSPITAL. This hospital is horrible. My opinion comes from living in the area for 25+yrs. Not just one visit...good luck.
