Had a phenomenal experience visiting this office! Ali from their team went above and beyond, not just for me but also my close friend to make sure we got exactly the pair of glasses that felt resonated with us and our identity. Admittedly took us a while to find just the right one but he was super patient and accommodating with the huge range of options they have. Loving my new pair of glasses!

Indeed the worst experience I've ever had with any stores or services in town. The staff member wearing a J.Crew T-shirt on Sat Oct 15 had no interest doing business. For everyone who value their time, pay attention. They require the customer set up an appointment to simply receive quote for your glasses, given you already have your prescription and choice of frame. The staff said the following to me, "You *have to* set up an appointment with me *next Monday* to receive the quote. I won't be able to email the details to you." This was after I was asked to write down my email address. I asked about a specific frame to get a quote for the total, with prescription and insurance information provided. I believe my ask was not unreasonable as that's just ordinary for my go-to optometrist. If you require me to pay another visit in person and sit there for half an hour to wait for your information gathering, that's just outrages for busy city life. How do people feel about going back to the office? Most do complain about the overhead like commute. Previously I visited Domain location with my boyfriend the other day. The staff was helpful. I read reviews here and recommended Optique. With this, I felt like a slap in my face. I informed him to pass on as he's a busy man, and I will tell the same to friends and colleagues. If you don't respect and value my time, I can't think of any reason to let you have my business. Another issue I noticed today, they don't carry designer brands.

Awesome experience having an eye exam today at Optique in downtown Austin. They were friendly, professional, punctual and I felt like I was in excellent hands. Five plus stars

Questions & Answers

I already have current eye exam prescription with you. How do I make appointment for picking out the frame and lenses? I don't see the option on your website. Guess I don't have to make appointment for that?

How long will it take to get my prescription frame and lenses once I order them?

With our in-house lab, we have the ability to provide one-hour service for many prescriptions. If you choose a different lens that we don't carry in-house, we generally recommend a wait time of 1 week for single vision lenses and 2-3 weeks for bifocals or progressives. Although, it is usually much faster than that. If you are custom-ordering a frame, the lenses will not be made until we receive the frame first. If we are using your insurance's lab, it is subject to their own individual wait times.
