Great time seeing Sarah Shook and the Disarmers, and Sug Daniels. The park is such a great place to see and hear live music. The manages to consistently get great live acts to play for free.

Nice and big park. Plenty of space for a walk. They also have tennis courts.

Nice big well-maintained park with picnic areas, playground, adult size swingset, restrooms, paved walking trails, a nice creek, lots of scenic views and interesting trees, and an extensive nature trail that goes through the woods, up to the top of a hill, then back down and along the creek. However, be warned that the nature trail that begins near the restrooms and starts off wide and well-maintained gets progressively more difficult and more rustic the longer you stay on it. I expected it to loop around to somewhere near the start point or the parking lot, instead it ended up going steeply downhill (I had to go down on my butt in a couple spots because I hadn't expected it to be that steep and slippery with few trees to grab, and hadn't brought a walking stick) and taking you alongside Valley Creek. At the point the trail hit the creek I checked GPS and saw that the trail had run well outside the bounds of the park as marked on the map. It was possible to get back to the park by following the creek in the appropriate direction, but the creek trail is quite overgrown and brambly, not easy to navigate till you get back within the bounds of the park. I hope that some better trail marking/ mapping is done because it's really a pretty place to explore.

Beautiful park. So green (I flew in from California). Lots of green grass for lounging or playing (most of it is sloped). Picnic areas, climbing structures and a wide flowing Creek with trails leading into Cedar Hollow Preserve. The trail is swampy and challenging in spots -- be prepared. There is also a baseball field, but I think that is on private land.
