Paying my water bill online is the worst of all worsts. A total nightmare! Cannot get on and when it starts to, it says to reload. I'd change my water company an instant!

Absolutely the worst service in the world. We had a burst pipe with water flooding our our lawn and driveway and called New Jersey American Water. Took them 8 hours. The repairman who came out looked over the situation and summarily said he needed to send someone else out, which would be within the hour. The second guy never came; after a series of 9 phone calls over the next 12 hours, finally someone came at 11 pm, looked at the situation (to his credit, he was a nice person), and told us that this was not New Jersey American Water's responsibility, and that we would need to get a private contractor to fix it. Unbelievable! Cannot say enough bad about this "company"
