The technicians need training with how to deal with autistic people. I’m autistic and have a phobia of blood so I have a routine that I do when I go get blood work done so I keep calm, which includes laying back and reading/watching something on my phone. Today when I went to get my labs done after explaining my issues and how I manage my conditions I was told couldn’t have my phone, like I’m someone in grade school. When I again explained that I need it as part of the process, I’m told that I can listen to music on it and put it away. Which would be good and all but I’m not getting a signal. What is the purpose of these rules??? I’ve never had any issue in any other Sunrise Labs before. Then the tech started asking me all of these questions like I was getting grilled for something. If an autistic person isn’t talking, there is a reason and forcing them to do so stresses them out. Because of all of this I did have an autistic meltdown in office and was forced to flee after getting the blood work done.

The ladies behind the desk at this location are extremely unpleasant. They have the absolute worst attitude and are unnecessarily nasty. It blows my mind that they hire such poor customer service.

Staff is very unpleasant. Seems like they hate their job. Definitely go somewhere else if you can. Not worth dealing with their attitudes.

The ladies at this location were so kind and thoughtful. I let them know I have anxiety when it comes to having blood drawn & my phlebotomist was excellent with me. She made sure I kept breathing, and sat with me to make sure I was OK before I left. She even walked me out to my car to make sure I was ok driving myself home. Great service I will definitely use them whenever I need any lab tests done in the future. Thank you ladies!
