The guy (idk what position he is because he didn’t tell me his name or have a tag on) said my throat looks fine even though I can literally see my swollen tonsil, and that my strep test came back negative. Said he was going to prescribe me antibiotics… even though he can’t see anything wrong with my throat and the strep test came back negative??

This place was just what you want when you aren’t feeling well. Easy to book an appointment on line, not too long of a wait, the receptionist, nurse and doctor were all pleasant and efficient. Would use them again.

All of our locations offer x-ray, labs, and EKGs right on site. We do not perform CT Scans or MRIs.
Hello Oscar, We perform many physical exams at our center. If you are looking for a wellness exam we can perform it, however please be aware insurance typically does not cover wellness exams if not performed at a PCP's office.

It is best to log onto the lab portal to which your specimen was sent with information you were given during your visit to check results. You may have been given information for the MyQuest, Labcorp or another portal. Please visit our website for more information and links to each portal.
Rapid antigen tests are most effective in people being tested at height of illness, when the virus’ presence in the body is highest. PCR tests are more accurate in detecting the virus in those without symptoms or those with symptoms who may not be at the peak of their illness.
Rapid antigen test results are available within 15 minutes. PCR test results are usually available within 24 hours, but can take longer depending upon volume and test availability.
Hello Guerline, Our rapid COVID tests provide results in 15 minutes. If you need your results sent off to a lab for processing it can take up to 7 days for them to return.

Please note, we also continue to offer PCR COVID-19 tests, which can be more accurate in identifying the virus in people with and without symptoms.
No. Our urgent cares are performing COVID-19 tests on both symptomatic and asymptomatic patients without a prescription. A prescription is not needed since you will be seen and evaluated by a provider. Your provider will talk to you about the best testing option for your unique situation.
As part of the Cares Act, regardless of your immigration status, if you are a New Jersey resident and do not have health insurance, COVID-19 test processing fees are waived at Hackensack Meridian Urgent Care locations. Please note, at the time of your COVID-19 test, you will also be seen and evaluated by a provider. Therefore, you will be billed by Hackensack Meridian Urgent Care for your in-office evaluation. You will not be billed by the lab that processes your COVID-19 test.

Patients are advised to schedule their COVID-19 tests 72 to 96 hours (3 to 4 days) PRIOR to their procedure. Please double check with your doctor or surgery center to confirm how soon before your procedure you should get tested.
Hello Cecilia, There would be an office charge as a self-pay and the lab processing fee's if you choose to have the specimen sent out. We do offer rapid testing as well.
