Not a bad place for a hole in the wall. I just had a salad and shared cheese fries with the hubby, but everyone else in my party enjoyed their food. I give four stars because it was good but nothing to write home about. If you’re in the area and hungry, stop there.

Unless you have an iron stomach do not eat at this restaurant. Even the salads were rough to get down. They say they are short staff but the truth is they just didn’t want to work. At one point we were the only family in the restaurant and there were only 2 before that. No water or tea refills. We just sat and sat and sat some more. Couldn’t get the check and when we did get it we couldn’t get anyone to pick it up. My advice is save you time and money, this restaurant is not worth either.

I throughly enjoy the food here. I enjoy getting their onion rings and fries, and just recently started getting their fried pickles. Their chicken tenders are very good, and so are the cheeseburgers. The food is always good, and there’s always so many options.

Big Red is a staple of this community. It is a must when in the area. I remember coming here over 20 years ago and the food is just as good, if not better! All home-made favorites, including pies! Our waitress, Bonnie, was so gracious and courteous. She brought our food out quickly and kept checking on us throughout or meal. They start with fresh bread and the any appetizers and so on. I don't give 5 stars on my reviews, but this place is an exception, for the food & the service, and the long positive history this place has with the surrounding community.
