Made an online order and was not able to pick up before I left for an out-of-state trip. I got back and missed the pick-up date. I called the day after the pick-up just to see if perhaps I would still have a change to get the order. The customer service representative said they still had my order in store and would hold it for me to pick-up the following day. I live shy a hour away. I just drove to the store and they didn’t not have the order. They said the best they could do was refund me. I told her that ultimately it was my fault as I wasn’t able to pick it up in time before I left for my trip, but it would have been nice if they would have just said they didn’t have it anymore, instead of saying they would hold it just for me to drive out for nothing.

I ordered a curbside pick up on the Carter’s app. When I went to go through with the pick up process I tapped the “I’m on my way” button when we were on our way. After filling out the car information I was prompted by the app with an “I’m here” option for when we pull into the parking lot. I tapped that one once we were parked in front of the store. An employee brings us our order and then makes a statement that I need to be sure to wait until we get into the parking lot to let them know we have arrived. I told her that I didn’t tap the “I’m here” button until after we were parked. She then started arguing with me that I submitted it too early, that she walked out and we weren’t there. I’ve done the same exact process with a previous order a few months back and had no problems then. I was surprised because I’ve had good experiences previously at this location but this was poor customer service.

Friendly staff, and very accommodating your littles with a table and chairs and a few things to occupy them throughout the store. Just be prepared for no shopping carts

Most items will be ready for Pick Up Today / Curbside Pickup within two hours of the time you place your order online. We'll send you an email when your items are ready for pickup. Place your order 2 hours before close for same-day pickup.

Employees sanitize their hands after each customer interaction and wear a mask during the entire process of fulfilling your order. When the associate brings your order to your car, they will place your order in the trunk or backseat to comply with social distancing.
