It is a good park to go in autumn. The promenade is good, too, and the view is really good.

It’s true primitive camping

Carry in , carry out primitive campsites and adorable cabin camping. Stayed here many times throughout my life so far and it's more like home than camping. I wouldn't recommend the hike in campsites unless you love hauling heavy stuff up a rocky trail (Think of lugging lots of firewood specifically. That was awful. But also secluded) Campsites have a fire ring, picnic table, and tall metal pole with hook for hanging a lantern? Water container? Garbage bag? Whatever its true purpose is we always find a use for it. Down side of campsites is most of them are sandy clay dirt and it gets dusty or muddy depending on the weather. Cabins are quite adorable with double bunk beds and table and bench inside. Woodstove for warmth and enough room to throw an air mattress on the floor if you move the table against the wall. They also have porches so you can sit outside even if the weather's bad. Highly recommend!

All the articles i read said to get to highest location so you can see the northern horizon (viewing to the north) and away from town lights. Not much in this area that has Views to the North unfortunately. Only place i was thinking of is the Allamuchy rest stop on 80E just past exit 19. That rest stop views to the west so... look to your right (north). Hope you see the northern lights tonight!!!
I'm not sure how much is it over night but there are camping sites here and you can do both, rent a cabin or bring a tent, you can probably google their phone number for questions regards the pricing 😉
I don't know that one
I eent a few weeks agi, and there are no off road trails for 4 wheeling; however lots of walking trails

Three miles and less. Depends on the trail you take. A lot of hills and rocks to climb.
Not that I'm aware of the campground part of jennq jump is closed I believe until apr 15 than you have to make reservations after that
Old Native American story about how a girl was forced to jump from the top of Jenny Jump mountain. It's why there are names like Ghost Lake and Shades of death rd.
just let them have their fun. you would’ve thought the same thing was cool to do at their age. as long as they aren’t vandalizing let them be.
There is a small lake for fishing only no boatin and no swimming at this state park there is a lot of hiking trails.
Yes... There are cabins and campsites. Contact the park office to reserve.
Local legend has it that Jenny was on the run from native Americans and she was led to a very high cliff. Those with her urged Jenny to jump. No one saw Jenny again. I was once led to the very cliff and saw how this was plausible. Nice view
