Thanks for your question! Reverend Roland Dry became Senior Pastor of SMBC on June 3, 1974 and served for 25 years, until September 1999. We are very grateful for his servant's heart, love, and devotion to our Church for all those years.

Thanks for your question! On January 6, 1946, Rev. John Thomas (JT) Sisk, Sr. was called to serve as Pastor of Second Baptist Church of Fort Mill (now Sisk Memorial Baptist Church). Sisk had previously been the Pastor of Statesville Avenue Baptist in Charlotte and, prior to that, South China Grove Baptist Church in China Grove, NC. Before being ordained as a Baptist Minister in 1938, though, Sisk had entered the Methodist Ministry, serving a number of Methodist churches in NC and Zoar Methodist in Fort Mill.
