I was admitted here from the hospital because I was far too weak to go home. The in-house PT is doing wonders. The food is excellent and plentiful, to the point of having to save a couple of items for later times. Everyone is so kind here. I'm getting lots of encouragement for any progress I make. Going to the salon here helps as our stylist braids my hair to keep me comfortable. I have no complaints. This is a beautiful facility. I like looking out onto the courtyards, including the one outside my window. PT is bright and sunny. My husband and Dad agree with me. They visit daily. The staff is so nice to them as well.

I’m blown away by the lack of empathy, professionalism, and competency of the staff. There appears to be a lack of communication between the staff, an inability to think ahead for emergent issues as well as routine necessities such as bringing dinner to patients on time, and a majority of the staff always have something the need to take care of when a question arises, despite sharing pictures on their phones and socializing constantly at the nurses station. I have found them to be rude and apathetic at best about basic needs. If you are able to care for yourself, you wouldn’t be here. If you can’t take care of yourself, it is a surprise to them. I do not think any of them, nor any of you, would appreciate the care they give. I don’t know where the other 5-star reviews were bought, but judging from the neglected patients throughout the building and the general annoyed demeanor of many staff members, it is not representative of how this place actually is. Ethically speaking, one intake nurse was extremely pushy and insisted that I sign paperwork prior to reading it. She was very curt or downright ignored me during any further interactions. There was no dinner the following day, very little to drink, and no visitors allowed. It could be a coincidence.

Being that this was a new facility, we were a little hesitant. However, it was so close and convenient we chose to go here. My wife was always treated with great care and so were those that visited with her. We went daily to visit with her and got to know a lot of the regular staff. We would like to especially thank the following for being extra caring and special to my wife: Nursing staff - Miriam, G, Gwen, Art, Debbie and Agatha. PT and OT staff - Matthew, Joy, Christopher and Marian. Of course there were hiccups along the way - this was brand new - and they were hiring as fast as they could. But overall we felt that the food was varied and delicious, the staff was attentive and friendly, and it was always kept so clean and not hospital smelling! Thanks to all!

Temecula health Care Center seems like a very nice place. Doesn't smell like some of the places you go into. They seem to take good care of their patients.
Look it up on the website and contact the Ombudsman. Usually the number is always posted at the facility.
Price varies due to a patients medical insurance . . .
