Best 4th of july ever for 5 and under. Has playground $5 parking is high but worth it here! Only trash is from kids that day but they clean up and close at 10pm

It was nice, I was surprised by how clean the beach ⛱️🏖️ was. For an entrance fee of $5.00💵, There was no life guard, so you were swimming at your own risk, that was a disappointment 😞. A few tweeks like a life guard and keeping garbage 🗑️ cans emptied would have made it more enjoyable for your $5.00 💵.

Music is fine. No alcohol. I've seen people pour it in cups. Just don't get caught. Don't throw empties in trash. They watch for people with alcohol. Don't drink and drive!!!
The closest CATS bus stop is on the Red Route. About 1/2 mile away.
You can't camp at twelve mile recreational area
No. It looks like first come, first use if you are picnicking or swimming on the beach.
No. A couple of tables under the trees and kids play ground.
Stop at the pay station and ask the attendant, they will take care of you.
I think so. I've never heard anything about not swimming this time p f year.
Dogs are not allowed on the swimming beach but I believe they are allowed in other areas if on a leash.
They closed at 4 today
Last weekend still closed, unsure
I cant find any info, and didn't think they would be closed b/c that is a Federally Funded Area???
If your coming from Clemson hey 123 and u pass the entrance on your LEFT pull over on the left side of road RIGHT B4 Guardrail... BEST FISHING 🎣 In Clemson! 12 mile is just a sand bottom.. Nowhere for them to take cover. Even PROS (when in town) hit that cove!! Livers or worms work best I'd set up 20 feet off the road in them woods! Good luck 👍
Went sunday everybody just parked on side of road, probably 50 plus people there
Bring coffee and donuts for the dentist across the street. Cheaper than a parking ticket.
No it isn't. The cops made everyone leave yesterday and gave out parking tickets.
You can get a core if engineers pass that includes most of the lake. It's $40 and you can get them at dnr or any occupied camp ground station. I get one every year.
Fishermen use the boat ramp all during the night. On the website it says "Open 24 Hours." At the gate it says gate locked at 10:00pm. My husband & I have been to this park many times over the past 20+ years & I've never seen the gate locked. There's a sign at the gate that says park closes at 10:00pm. We stayed all night & fished. Never been run off or locked in. Until tonight... We rode our motorcycle down tonight. Got there about 10:15pm. We were sitting, talking, looking across the lake. We're too old to be doing anything else. Lol When a police officer told us the park closes at 10pm and we'd have ro leave. He said it was almost 11:30pm. So we left.
Yes
Blue Ridge Parkway
Lake Hartwell on an island
I dont think so. This location is more like a family outing or picnic spot. You may consider Clemson botanical garden as i know they hosted several 5k run before.
Yes as long as they are well-behaved and on leash but they don't enforce that as long as the dog his will behaved
Update free at this time. However new gates coming soon . Not sure on the cost to enter.
