This beach is a hidden gem. Not overly crowded. At first, we thought we were going the wrong way because you have to go through a gated, rich neighborhood to get to the beach. You get your parking ticket through a pay meter, just $10. The preserve closes at sunset and the rangers will let you know. There are golpher tortoises out and about so make sure you make sure they are not under the car or that you're driving too fast. Lots of beautiful shells to collect, different types that we couldn't find on Sanibel Island. We spent a lot of days at this beach. Definitely our favorite in Naples/Ft. Myers area.

It is true, this is one of the most beautiful beaches I've visited in America. The only fee you have to pay is $10 parking and you enjoy a full day of white sand, clear water and the most beautiful sunset eve.r

The most Gogher Tortoises I've ever seen! They're everywhere! Nice beach, not crowded, some shells. $10 a car. Not bad!

Nice beach, but lack of parking which costs $10. 1 bathroom is furthest from the end lots. Great shells & saw gopher tortoises too.

Nope. We were there yesterday. It was perfect.
Absolutely picnic tables up close by the water. Stay off small grassy area FIRE ANTS.
I wouldn't sleep on a beach overnight. Why risk your safety?
I didn't see parking for big vehicle but others parked on the side of the road.as a protective area I would call and inquire
Nope but you can take them down to unleash dog area by lovers key state on the water
Sunday, it was still bad, today not as bad. Not bothered by my lungs. But still dead fish on the beach.
First parking lot by the restrooms. Really pretty.
I did not see any dogs on the beach. Do not remember if that was a posted regulation
At this moment it is. But normal open until sunset to the public
No glass bottles, glasses, or glass containers of any kind are allowed.
You can most certainly snorkel if the water is warm and clear.
No. There is a dog beach up just south of lovers Key State Park
There is a drop off, depends on where you are. What do you consider to be big?
You have to drive all the way down the road once you get past the gate and then they will a decent amount of little parking lots and when those parkings are full some people Park on the opposite side of the parking lots on the side of the grass
Absolutely bring or purchase a portable chair while packing a lunch... Consider it a place to have a good old American picnic... Not a tourist destination with chachkey vendors, food courts or rental chairs tables or snacks. Ill tell you what I like to do is go to Publix Foods stores that are in ample supply in Florida and grab a couple of killer sandwiches...some healthy chips, an apple and some exceptional cheese selections. Do not bring alcohol and enjoy the Gorgeous Vistas of this breathtaking Oceanside park. Be sure to leave the premises pristine by disposing of any refuse. Have a great time but come prepared. HAVE FUN! 😊😉😎BLESSINGS! JMAC
Very nice beach with fine white sand.
I asked at entrance. Passes are only for Collier residents.
Great question...call the parks and recreation Department of Collier county..
To my understanding....Dogs are not allowed as it backs up to various private beaches with many home adjacent. Usually the laws preclude that dogs arent allowed. Call to ask
Agreed, daily parking fee of $8.00. Small price to pay for such a lovely beach!!!
Its a bit of a way to see Ft. Meyers and Naples.... but the answer is yes if the sky is clear... Happy New Year and have a blast!!! The pun was intended!😁😂😉😎
On the trails Yes. On the beach No.
I don't work for the park...but certainly you cam confirm that by contacting Collier County Parks Department...I have never seen a trained and well behaved while socialized service dog refused anywhere so it serves to reason the answer is yes...Bring a doggie refuse bag and call the Park Department to confirm!!! Gorgeous Park. Enjoy! 😁😉😎
Yes
I don't think it's safe..
