First, we have dined here many times while visiting Savannah. We ordered 2 beet salads, the duck with mashed potatoes, the filet mignon with asparagus and fingerling potatoes, and 2 mille-feuille. Where to begin? The salads were sub par with wilted lettuce. The duck was prepared poorly with the fat barely rendered. Chewy duck skin is not pleasant and we have sampled fine duck breast in many restaurants in multiple countries. The filet mignon was not a little charred; it was burned to the point of being bitter. The asparagus appeared to have been cooked in the same pan as it was covered in a gray layer that stayed on the plate even after consuming it. $60 for a burned steak is unforgivable. The dessert you served was not mille-feuille, which we've had in Paris many times. It was a puff pastry bowl with frozen and fresh berries topped with a little whipped cream and jarred strawberry sauce instead of fresh coulis. Disappointing. Call it something else if you can't make mille-feuille. To make it worse, they seated a very loud inebriated woman close to our table which ruined our mood. What a waste. You've lost customers for your poor food andjudgment.

Really cute place. Nice food. Coquille St. Jacques & Escargot were great. Very reasonable wine prices, especially Champagnes. Service was spot on. Very nice night.
