I've got nothing but incredible things to say about this restaurant.. it is not very often food blows me away. The food: perfectly seasoned. Cooked to perfection. Juicy. Flavorful. I tip my hat to the kitchen staff and the chefs. From the deviled eggs, to quail, to the catfish, to the scallops, the risotto, and the ribeye steak. Perfection on a plate. The cracked pie. It's nostalgic in a way. I've never had it before but somehow it reminded me of my childhood. Like when ego eats the ratatouille in the movie ratatouille. Our server, Alex, was phenomenal. She was knowledgeable of the entire menu. Described it in detail. Waited on us as if we were her only table. Thank you Alex for the excellent service! I can't wait for my next meal at dovetail.

Cozy, it's cozy. However it's a typical pub, so it's small, and noisy. Great for that atmosphere, but if you're coming with a big group, you'll need to do some recon ahead of time.
The Moonhanger Group owns both the Dovetail (upstairs) and the Rookery (downstairs).
