It's just.. SO BAD. They're preying on the tourists, and not even pretending to try. I've had frozen food that was more authentic than this. We tried it right when they opened, then gave it 2 months, hoping they'd get it together, and tried again. Nothing changed, the food remained a poor imitation of actual Asian food. Never again

If you have not been to Shallotte Hibachi PLEASE GO. The food is great and staff is so nice. All you can eat buffet, sushi bar and hibachi all for $14.99. So very good and worth every penny.

This is a place of convenience, great price, Clean environment, fast service, FAST SERVICE!!! I want you to understand how much value there is in great fast service. Seated as soon as you enter the place and drinks at your table within 2mins if not faster. Staff is amazing nice clean greeting you when you enter food on the buffet well stacked always hot and fresh great place for lunch !!!!

Exactly what you would expect for the lunch buffet. Large variety of items. Inviting presentation. (Naturally not as fresh as a menu entree.) Large selection of seafood and sushi. Was disappointed that all chicken items were dark meat (honey chicken, General Taos, pepper chicken) with a single exception: the reliable sweet and sour chicken was white meat. Gloves were provided at the buffet. Dining room and restroom were clean. Staff were warm and friendly. Entire buffet pictured with my review.
