I was sent here after my son was born for his care. I was told before we went that it wasn’t the best place to go for a child’s doctor. This office is where residents learn and yes you can get some not so good residents but for the most part all the doctors are knowledgeable. I did have an issue when my son was a couple months old but the office called and fixed it as best as they could. Now we see Stephanie every time and we love her. I wanted someone he could see consistently because he has some unique problems. I didn’t want to have to explain everytime. She’s amazing. They also call back some day for sick appointments so I have never had a problem with them getting back to me.

At first I wasn’t sure if I wanted to chose that office for my baby. And then I met the best doctor in all SC. Dr. Macatuno. It’s hard nowadays to find a doctor that CARES, takes his time with patients, put the well-being of his patients first and explains everything. And he does all of that. He’s so good with babies! Also he has always made sure my baby gets the right treatment. Also, the staff and nurses are so sweet and friendly. Nurse Lindsey is the sweetest nurse and she’s an inspiration. Only thing I don’t like is that sometimes it’s so hard to find a parking spot and also the facilities need some update. Other than that I will highly recommend it!!

I am removing my children from this facility due to discrimination from the office manager and staff. Monica’s decision to call security on my husband and I, while we were attempting to receive immunization shots for my 2 month old daughter was not only inappropriate and unnecessary, it was also discriminatory and offensive. There was no conversation between Monica and I or my husband prior to Monica’s decision to escalate the situation as both my husband and I were wanting to be present for this appointment. Three weeks ago I witnessed (and have proof) of a non black couple that was allowed to sit in the waiting room with their newborn and allowed access to the back without any problems or protest from the office staff. I understand covid protocols, however both my husband and I are vaccinated, and we want answers as to why it was allowed for this couple to accompany their newborn together, and it turned into world war 4 when my husband and I attempted the same. This is an informal complaint but I will be filing an official complaint through the appropriate channels.
