Express Shoe Repair

I've now had five items repaired at Express Shoe Repair - a purse, a pair of my daughter's Converse, and three pair of Birkenstocks. All of the repairs were done very well, very professionally. The owner warned me that two of the pairs of Birkenstocks would be difficult repairs because the shoes were old and well-worn, and had lost cork from the soles. When I picked these shoes up, I was so pleased! They looked great, and ready for more years of wear! The owner is personable, does great work, and charges reasonable prices. I don't live in Santa Rosa, but I will make the drive to this shoe repair place for all my future repairs.

The place is okay, I asked my wife to bring my boots to get new soul and the guy just did a quick fix. I went back my shelf to ask him to redo his sloppy work and he just give me all kinds of different excuses. I'm not completely satisfied with what he did but definitely I won't go back to the same place, I don't recommend it but if you decide to go just make sure he does what you want.

Carlos made 2 pairs of Louboutin heels look tiptop again, after a couple of years of wear. I will be trusting him with all my shoe repairs in future.

Took in a pair of expensive boots to have a small (1/2 inch) stain removed from the suede. Carlos charged $50, said he would put his heart and soul into the repair, and told me to come back in 2 days. He did get the stain out, but he left filthy fingerprint stains all over the shoes and somehow destroyed the white leather interior of the shoe, which was in pristine condition when I dropped them off. The amount I paid was criminal given the quality of the "repair" and the shoes came back to me in *worse* condition. Won't be coming back again.
