Gary was very helpful and assisted me unloading my truck and be on my way. The only negative thing about the facility is you can't go on weekends. They're open Mon-Fri 7:30am-7:30pm. Should be open on a Saturday, even if it's only until 12.

I dread anytime I have to go here. Today was no different. Southern manners do not exist. My husband was yelled at by an employee because we came through the gates at 7:15pm to dump trash we had been stacking in the back of a truck for the last 2 hours. They had been working all day and so had we. Regardless, we were not allowed to complete our unloading and were made to leave just before 7:30pm. As another reviewer put it: "ridiculous!"

Why would the landfill no longer except brush debris on Saturday is beyond me. This land fill is only open on through the week. Most people work through the week and need to haul the brush off on Saturday. The land fill itself closes at 4:20 everyday, how does this help the working people that pays taxes. Absolutely Ridiculous!!!!

Yes I do just go past the entrance where you take your trash and the next entrance you pull in and get on the scale talk to the lady at the window and she'll tell you where to dump it then come back over the scale again she'll tell you how much it cost
Yes, I also meant to say; be sure you call or check the times they are open. Some days I believe Wednesday and Sunday the recycling center is closed.
They will be closed on monday also u may want to call the seneca landfill it us open sat til 3 most weekends
Yes you can. During usual hours you have to dump them at the main landfill located beside where you drop off trash and recycling. After 5pm and on weekends there is a dumpster set up to take yard waste (sticks, leaves, limbs) in the trash and recycling area.
No debit cards..an not sure about boats
Tires have their own bin and I am certain bumpers are allowed as well. Just need to check which bin they go in depending on what they are made of (mostly plastic or steel etc.)
I'm not sure but there's a mulch yard on brezeale at 178
No
I'm sure you. But you can call the Pickens county landfill and someone will let you know if you can. If yes and where location at the landfill it can be dumped.
Convenient station for Pickens residents is closed Wednesday. The actual landfill open M-F till 420
They've never checked any residency stuff with us but we do have South Carolina plates. If they notice, they will not let you in.
