They can they're really a great group of people who are reasonable on prices
It'll be $40 just to diagnose the problem (which counts toward the repair if you go through with it). Approximately $200 if it's the back lights, slightly less if it's the TC board or power board. For a 55 inch, I'd just replace the TV because chances are something else will go wrong on it soon. Hope this helps.
