The Fisher house is such a wonderful place for families of our VETS. So welcoming and anything you would ever need, just like your own home. Beautiful accommodations. Cooking, laundry, and even food if you need it. My brother had surgery at the VA hospital and my sister in law and I shared a room. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR HOSPITALITY.

Yes but u need to call ahead
They have volunteers that cook meals, for any person that is staying there, usually 2-3 nights a week. They also have food available for you throughout the day...pastries in the morning, frozen items that can be cooked, deli meats for sandwiches and plenty of snacks.
The Fisher House provides a place for family to stay while the Veteran is in the hospital (VA, MUSC), must live more than 50 miles away. They have a full kitchen, dining area, den, outdoor veranda. Yes, families must share rooms, bathrooms.

It looks like quite a bit. The place is well kept. They provide many things.
All the amenities are available in your room you would find in a 4 star hotel. You also have a full kitchen, dining area, washing area for your clothes and den with television downstairs to use at your leisure. If you have questions or concerns all you need to do is ask. And yes Fisher house is very CLEAN.
