My family owns a place here in town. We have been to George's multiple times and usually the only hurdle is our strenuous wait time (50mins) waiting for food. Today was different, we came in for lunch around 11. We sat down, our waitress was just as sweet as pie, but this was the only positive thing for our very short horrible experience. We just sat down and ordered waters for the table, we then waited maybe 10mins. She then takes our food order. This is when it goes off the deep end. We order two lunch meals and one breakfast meal. We then wait for about 10 minutes for our food and the waitress comes back over and tells us that we are not allowed to order lunch, even though it is lunch time on a Saturday afternoon. They normally allow this however randomly today they don't want to cook us lunch. We then order one small breakfast item because we feel bad and the other person in our party has already ordered breakfast. When the food comes there is hair in the food. The egg cheese bacon biscuit they made off of the buffet line. The bacon was the opposite of crispy which we asked for. This may be start to finish, top to bottom, the worst food experience I have ever had in my entire life. Silverware was dirty, the bathrooms were torn all apart, and the smell inside was that of 50 catfish left in 150° room for 3 days with no ventilation. I would strong advise going anywhere but George's Cafe!
