It's always been a pleasure to go to Gilligan's. Their Seafood is outstanding and mostly caught locally.

Not worth the cost, save yourself the disappointment and go to the Charleston Crab House...... The food was terrible, literally only 1 out of 6 people in our party ate more than a third of their food (none came home either). I've been wanting to stop and eat at this restaurant for years so don't think this is some half hearted had a tiny issue and trying to trash the restaurant review. I paid for the entire order (even though we did express our disappointment to the manager who was going table to table checking on the patrons) and I left about a 30% tip since our server Michael was amazing. This restaurant has the potential to be great if they could prepare the food better, for instance I got a dish that was Sausage and shrimp stir fryed with shredded cabbage over a bed of Charleston red rice. The red rice was over cooked under seasoned and mushy. The sausage and cabbage tasted burnt and the shrimp did not seem to be stir fryed like they were supposed to be (they seemed steamed and then seasoned...bloated and watery). The dish could be amazing if cooked with some pride...... Would loved to have had a great meal at a restaurant with such curb appeal and great atmosphere bit it just didn't materialize like I had hoped.

I think it was around $20 to $30. You should call ahead because they do not have it available all year.. I believe its seasonal.
