Hi Allen, thank you for your question! The simple answer is sometimes. When you bring your knife in we'll do a quick inspection and determine whether or not it is within our capability to sharpen in store (some items like our Super Shears and Bypass Pruners always need to be shipped to our factory), if we are able to sharpen it in the store and the store isn't busy we can almost always do it while you wait! If we determine that the knife must go out to our factory we handle the entire process for you and it takes about 2-3 weeks. If you have any questions please call me (Aron) at 651-333-4602. Hi Bobbi, We send Cutco super shears out for sharpening at the factory. We do not sharpen other brands at all. Hope this helps! Thank you.

Yes we do! We sharpen all Cutco knives in our store, depending on their condition there is a chance that the knives will be beyond our ability to sharpen in the store. In which case we'll ship them to the factory for you at no charge! If your knives are not Cutco we can only sharpen straight edge blades and we do charge a small fee.
