It’s has been a wonderful experience having the opportunity to volunteer with The Nicolas House of Atlanta with my daughter Hayden (age 14) her friend Crystal (age 14) and my niece Ava (age 14). Being a small part of the big picture has been such a privilege for all of us!! The love and support The Nicolas House gives to the families they help in the community is truly remarkable!! It is also a true gift to see the girls work hard to give back and the positive impact it has already had on the middle school girls personally!! Bria with the Nicolas House has been so wonderful to work beside and with!! She is an amazing individual with a positive spirit and love for what she does and who she is!! We look forward to many more opportunities to help in anyway we are able with The Nicholas House of Atlanta!!

Yes they do
This is transitional housing they help families with self sufficiency and housing needs
No you can not leave out after curfew they will write you up enough write up will get you kicked out house. Curfew is 10:00pm Sunday-thurs and fri-sat 12:00am
This facility is for homeless families. Have you tried Gateway?
You have to go to 275 Pryor street to get in
Go to Gateway on (275 Pryor St) to register with them to assess you and set you up with a organization that will help based off your needs. My prayers to your situation.
I think you have to be a resident or get a Ga ID when you get there in order to get proper help. I don't work there or know anything about it but I kmow thats how it is in Fla to enter or get help here you must 1st prove you live here.
Yes...
You can get a referral from 211 or you can go through gateway.
Try getting a referral from211or gateway
Married couples with families typically,
It goes really fast if you have a job. You have to go there and talk to the staff. I went in hoping to get into the shelter till I got on my feet but instead they got me and my son our own apt cuz I had a job. It took 2 weeks. God led me to this place, they are awesome. God bless you!
Just go to Nicholas House and speak to the counselor
That's the only exception. You may have to submit your work schedule or employer written document stating so
You can go talk to them. They usually have a waiting list and I don't think they are an emergency shelter.
I am so sorry to hear that. Nicholas house is full at this time and the process is to go to Gateway Monday through Friday and fill out there documentation. At that time they will let you know available shelters. You can also call 211 or search United Way Atlanta to see available resources. Most places are not open on the weekend. I am on vacation and I wish you the best and pray you find somerhing fast for your family.
Go through gateway center housing assessment and they'll place you where ever you best fit. 275 Pryor St SW, Atlanta, GA 30303 Get there at or before 7 am and get a ticket for housing assessment, expect the process to take till 1pm ish.
Only families with children. A single women with a child meets the requirements.
Yes they do
They will provide a roof & food while you look for and obtain employment. And yes they accept families including single mothers and single fathers but you will have to go to Gateway first before intake.
Yes. Call and make sure they have room.
If you have child/children
Not at the Nicholas House. Everyone who's homeless should check in at the Gatewsy Center.. They'll tell you everything available to you. Go there. As Soon As Possible
Thru the Gateway Center. Must be referrers. And qualify to get in
You have to go to the Gateway Center upon arrival. Wait in line until you get a number & it is called. During your interview ask about them. They have to refer you there... Background and other tests. One week at least to get in. If there's an opening. Good luck 👍✌
I'm sorry, not sure
Yes but only a few items due to covid
Yes however everyone must go through Gateway for intake
