The program as a whole is a great idea. It could be helpful. My experience with the workers has been terrible. They are unprofessional and go behind your back talking to landlords promising them money that they cannot provide. They do not know much about customer service skills. When I found a home they tried to tell me the landlord didn’t want to rent to me. The landlord contacted me and stated that was not true. This house is very nice and in a area of my children’s schools. Terrylyn Pons was the specialist that I was paired to work with and she wasn’t very pleasant. I expected them to include me in on decisions or issues being discussed with my landlord. Instead they did a lot of lying and undermining and almost cost me my home. I have reached out to supervisors. I’m still waiting on help from the agency. I attended emails from Terrylyn Pons stating my landlord said she didn’t want to move forward. The other email is from my housing specialist who spoke with the same landlord that day.

Mr. Andre McDonald was my housing coordinator, has helped in every way possible to assist my family, with services for housing, and they have an employment counselor and other services to help . Mr. McDonald has shown that it is not a crime to become homeless, always caring and showing respect when none is warranted and the love of God. Thank you PCCI.

They help families get off the streets finding homes for them..if you need help with housing go to gateway and they will connect you with Project Community Connections Inc. They will put a smile back on your face.

No! u pick ur own apartment or house that you like that accepts this program. any place that will accept this program they will try to put you in. Everything is up to you they would give you suggestions but if you see a place better or you like another place better let them know and they're try to work it out to put you in that place but you ultimately find your own place and they just decided this is the place for you.
I would to know very soon in 24 hours
The program helps house ppl who have been referred from a shelter they are homeless and habe completed an assessment...for situations like you have described...you wld need places like hope Atlanta..the salvation army...and action ministries...
Yes they do but this is an organization and you have to be referred to it pray the gateway community centers downtown Atlanta before you go through the trouble of trying to be the first 10 people in line at the gateway downtown why don't you first Google project community phone number if they don't answer leave a message for front desk or if you have a car you can go down in person and they can answer some questions for you and possibly give you some information in your hand
It's according to what your situation is at the time
